TOURNAMENT RULES
System of play: The Tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 10 Round.
Tie Break : In case of Tie, the tie will be broken as per FIDE regulation; that is Buchholz system first lower cut, second lower cut and third lower cut.
Dispute: In case of any dispute Chief Arbiter's decision will be final and binding on all.
WHO CAN PLAY
The Tournament is open to all students who are yet to appear for Madhyamik / CBSE or
equivalent Examination and were born on or after 01.01.1997 ( only bonafide school students )
ENTRY FEE
For Students of Alekhine Chess Club and GNCA Rs. 300/- ; Others Rs. 400/- by cash or DD in
favour of Alekhine Chess Club payable at Kolkata.
DATE OF ENTRY
From 12th January to 22nd January 2013 at Alekhine Chess Club on working days between 1 pm and 8pm on first come first serve basis, no one will be entertained after 22nd January 2013.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION
5 Nos colour passport size photographs.
(1 for Tournament Registration, 2 for AICF registration and 2 for BCA Registration)
REGISTRATION
AICF registration for all players and BCA registration for only west Bengal players
LODGING
Free for outstation Rated players having ELO 1900 & above and
National and Asian age group Champions or World Medal winners.
